Arctic Restore Test Drive: Cryo, LED Light, Infrared Sauna, PEMF + Lymphatic Suit (Northern California)

When we say self-care, we don’t mean bubble baths—we’re talking full-on recovery meets beauty. Our Beauty Lab field trip to Arctic Restore in Danville/Alamo, CA gave us a chance to test out cutting-edge treatments that athletes swear by and beauty lovers secretly crave. Owner Jessie, a former runner and scientist, guided us through every step.

Cryo Chamber vs. Ice Bath: 3 Minutes Wins

Forget the 20-minute shivering ice bath. Whole-body cryo is nitrogen-powered cold air, dry instead of wet, and you’re done in 3 minutes. You stand in a chamber (head out, body inside) and get all the benefits: reduced inflammation, faster healing, collagen support, and that euphoric energy rush when the blood flow returns. Quick, effective, and way more comfortable.

Zero-Gravity Relaxation with Multi-Wave LED

Next up, zero-gravity recliners with compression boots + a multi-wave LED facial panel. The boots compress from toes to thighs, promoting lymphatic drainage and reducing puffiness, while the LED mask uses red, amber, and infrared light to stimulate collagen and circulation. The result? Brighter skin, calmer mood, and deep relaxation—we both napped.

Infrared Sauna & Add-On Therapies

Private infrared sauna rooms (stocked with water, towels, and streaming TVs if you want them) gave us 30 minutes of detox and calm. We then split to try different add-ons:

  • PEMF Mat Therapy: A coil-lined pad restores the body’s natural magnetic balance disrupted by constant EMFs. It left us floaty and centered.

  • Balancer Pro Lymphatic Suit: A full-body compression suit squeezed away puffiness, water retention, and toxins—like a lymphatic massage without the hands-on session.

Localized Cryo: Targeted Relief That Shows

Our shoulders were tight, so Jessie used localized cryotherapy (a nitrogen “cold gun”) on our problem areas. She monitored the skin temperature for safety while cooling inflammation. The before/after difference in shoulder symmetry was visible. Immediate relief we didn’t know we needed.

Our Results (After One Day & Beyond)

  • Puffiness gone, skin brighter
  • Shoulder pain reduced 85–90%
  • Slept deeper and woke up refreshed
  • Mental clarity + mood boost
  • Lingering post-cold congestion cleared in two days

If you’re in the Bay Area and deal with soreness, inflammation, or just want a beauty + recovery reset, Arctic Restore is worth it. Memberships and bundles make it affordable—and Jessie will tailor treatments to your needs.
